    @Blending with Henry I have used and owned Vitamix since early 90's and Blendtec for 10 years now and I use the Blendtec twister jar exclusively for peanut butter that I make for myself in about 10 seconds. Blendtec I also use to grind my wheat into flour.

    They are totally different machines that do totally different things. I have the Vitamix 3500 Accent with the stainless steel container which will make frozen deserts well especially in that stainless container that keeps the contents much colder. I also just bought the Creami which is the equivalent of a Pacojet which is a dessert machine restaurants have been using for decades and paying thousands for a machine as well. Comparing these two machines is like saying would you rather have a boat or a car. A car might be more useful but a boat is a lot of fun. I would rather see a video showing how to use both a Vitamix and a Creami to make frozen desserts.

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry 6 днів тому

      I don't know what video you looked at but it certainly wasn't mine. I did not compare an A3500 to a Creami. I compared a similarly priced Vitamix which was the lowest of the line with nearly zero features compared to other Vitamix machines.

    Thank you, what do you do to get rid of a cloudy container? 🙏🏼

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry 6 днів тому

      Despite anyone posting videos or "tricks" to get rid of a cloudy container, it's not possible. Don't trust any of those UA-camrs saying differently. I've seen those videos and they are showing a cloudy container, then they reveal a "clean" container that in reality is a brand new container. They are trying to fool viewers to get views and sales. The container is cloudy because of micro-scratches from your ingredients that have a rough texture such grains, seeds, peanuts, nuts, ice, etc. The high speed of the blades push the hard ingredients aggressively against the walls of the container. The cloudiness is permanent. If you have hard water then you have water spots that can be cleaned somewhat, but a cloudy container is non-reversible.

    Great video. Thanks for the amazing tips. I have the old-fashioned rubber lid. I need suggestions on how to scrub it clean?

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry 6 днів тому

      Soaking it is the only way to remove smells from the rubber lid. It's perhaps one of the reasons Vitamix started including plastic lids with their container on their newer machines.

    With the Nuwave gold the buttons are under a piece of plastic that deteriorates over time from oil splatters and cleaning until the plastic breaks and you activate the buttons with a plastic knife or chopsticks. The PIC Pro Chef has a flat fully glass covered top. Easy to clean and no plastic breaks.

    What are the thoughts on mixing nuts?

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry 23 дні тому

      While I'm certain it's possible and may be just fine with select nuts, it could present a problem since certain types require different blend times and other additives for the proper taste. For example Almond milk requires straining and Cashew milk does not which could affect the flavor of what the cashews bring to the milk if you strain them.

      Hi Jen! At first I thought it was overkill getting the extra AirFryer baskets. Glad you mentioned you have multiple. I want to try out the Dehydration mode. Absolutely take your time and make sure there's enough difference between the model you have this newer one. It cooks really fast by itself on manual mode but when using the Autopilot feature from the Breville Plus app it cooks even faster. 😍🙏🏾

    As always, great video. The one thing I hope they add to this oven, is a notification that food is almost done. Coming from a June oven, it alerts you 1 minute before it's finished so you know you can walk back in to the kitchen to get ready to take it out. Also, I don't see a food temperature probe in the oven. Maybe the oven is smart enough to know but I would be nice for you to be able to control (and know) what the internal temp of your food you want to be. It sucks that webber bought June just for the patents and have no plans to continue making the oven :(

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry 26 днів тому

      Very good idea about the 1 minute alert. No probe though. The Joule is a fantastic oven but a probe would've definitely been a great included and helpful accessory. Thanks for watching and your great feedback. 🙏🏾

    Great video Henry, thank you! The only addition I would make for setup is this: when you are installing the 2 filter caps in the back both filters must be taken out, the filter cap placed on each & then the RIGHT filter must go in first. I just purchased my FC-50 & it took me a few minutes to figure it out, but hopefully this will help others. But I really do appreciate your video!

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry 29 днів тому

      Thank you for watching, and I always appreciate extra helpful feedback, although the way I installed the filters in the back was exactly as described in the owner's manual. The manual states to install the filters first then place the cap on top of them afterwards. Nothing mentioned about right or left goes first. I read all owner's manuals before I attempt to make a video so my viewers get the proper info. 🙏🏾

    Did you notice the food cooking slightly uneven on the other induction hobs vs the control freak? My biggest reason for wanting the control freak is the increased magnet size so I can use 12 inch pans and still have the whole of the element heating the pan bottom evenly. I've used the Duxtop P961LS and its fairly obvious the induction magnet is much smaller than they advertise.

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry Місяць тому

      Other brands are best used with smaller pans 10" pans with 6"-7" bottoms otherwise they will take much longer to fully heat up.

    can use the nuwave pic gold for sous vide you reckon?

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry Місяць тому

      Sous vide cooking is best done with a dedicated immersion circulator. Some induction models like the Control Freak mention Sous Vide cooking capability in the owner's manual, but neither of these machines or any induction burner is ideal for Sous Vide cooking since water needs to be constantly circulated throughout the entire cooking process for proper heat distribution and efficient cooking. Thank you for watching! 🙏🏾

    My vintage 5000 Total Nutrition Center Blender still blends well after 32 years of use. I rotate it with my newer Vitamix 5300. All the containers cross over and fit both machines, and I have a few of them😊. I still want the Stainless Steel Container, it would look cool on the Vitamix TNC.

    Another great video, Henry! I bought one of these machines as a Christmas present for myself. Love using it for steaks to get that perfect internal temperature and for cooking chicken breasts so there's no doubt they're cooked safely. Definitely don't skip the searing for beef/poultry or it won't look too appetizing. Another great feature as you point out is that you can leave your food in the water and it won't over cook. I enjoy this as it gives me some wiggle room to get side dishes complete and the whole meal will come together at the same time. For some, it might be a drawback that it's ENTIRELY app based and no ability to adjust the temperature on the machine itself. After initial setup, I've had no issues with the app or use of the machine at all. Hope you enjoy many more cooks with it, Henry! Happy cooking!

    Hi Henry, in your experience with the nu waves and the breville, did any of them present with hot spots in the centre of the fry pans during the course of your testing, or will this only happen with poor quality pans? Thanks!

    • @BlendingWithHenry
      @BlendingWithHenry Місяць тому

      I haven't actually noticed any "hot spots" but it is true that while Nuwave has an 8" coil, while using large pots it tends to heat up towards the outer edge of the pot instead of the entire bottom. This makes it take longer to heat up the entire pot, especially if it's cast iron. Stainless isn't as much of an issue since it's a great conductor of heat. Poor quality pans can be an issue if they don't sit super flat on induction.

    Why whenever I make nut butter in my Vitamix it turns out so thick like a paste and not silky smooth like the one in the video?

    I bought a Zavor portable induction burner ~6 months ago. I love its ability to bring liquid to a boil much faster than my gas cooktop without spillover heat around the edge of the pot which makes stirring the contents painful. But it's small induction coil results in very uneven heating when using large pans (i.e., more than ~6 inches in diameter). I thought perhaps my unit was defective until I stumbled across vlogs like yours which helped me to understand the limitations of the cheap induction burners versus something like the Breville unit (I have a Breville Souse Vide tool and love it). I wish there was a portable induction burner with a large coil priced closer to $500 USD since, as a home cook, I can't justify $1500 USD on a portable induction burner.

      I should also point out that my cheap Zavor induction burner is great when paired with a small cast iron pan to quickly sear a steak then tent the pan with aluminum foil and lower the wattage to bring the internal temp to medium rare. But that is something I do only a few times each year -- perhaps once a month on average.

      The Zavor was my first portable induction burner. I was so mesmerized by how fast induction works. Thanks for watching Kurtis and for great feedback. 😍🙏🏾

    I just bought 3lbs of Medjool Dates and I love them as substitute for sugar in my Peach/Mango Bread.

      Hi Jen! That bread sounds really good!!! Dates are more versatile than most people know.

    hi , Hendry, thanks for your meal with blender ideas and blender reviews, but I wonder if you consider to make a Braun PowerBlend 9 (triforce) review, comparison against vitamix, cause ninja is not worth the money in many cases. I have no serious attitude towards Braun products for many decades, but that model somehow tries to appear to be way better than anything braun was ever made. On paper it looks good there are few reviews, but those reviews does not make any comparison to any known blender brand (vitamix, blendtech, nutribullet, ninja and etc)
